Double structures in generalized Kähler geometry

Abstract:
A generalized Kähler structure can be equivalently defined in terms of holomorphic Manin triples also known as Lie bialgebroids. From this point of view, we will explain why symplectic double groupoids are useful in the study of generalized Kähler geometry.
