Improved indirect limits on muon EDM

After reviewing the basics of the paramagnetic EDM, I derive an indirect constraint on the muon EDM from the recent ACME and JILA paramagnetic EDM experiments, which supersedes the BNL direct constraint by more than one order of magnitude.
