Abstract:
I will describe recent results involving the role of the prolate spheroidal wave functions and operator, obtained in collaboration with C. Consani concerning the low lying zeros and in collaboration with H. Moscovici concerning the ultraviolet behavior of zeros (of zeta in both cases).
