Line operators and Cherkis Bows

Abstract:
I will discuss brane constructions of line operators in 4d Chern-Simons theories. This will show that phase spaces of such line operators are described by the supersymmetric vacua of certain 3d N=4 theories which coincide with Cherkis bow varieties. Such line operators determine representations appearing in integrable spin chains. We can also see examples of varieties corresponding to the familiar T and Q operators.
