Title:
Anomalies and Symmetry Fractionalization,

Speaker:
Diego Delmastro

Abstract:
We will argue that, in order to determine the anomaly of a given symmetry, we must first understand all symmetries of higher degree and their respective anomalies. In other words, the anomaly of a symmetry of a given degree is often ambiguous unless we first specify all anomalies of higher degree. We will provide a physical interpretation as to why this happens and several examples and applications to strongly-coupled dynamics. Based on arXiv:2206.15118.
