Variations on double ramification cycles

Abstract:
I will describe several variations on the standard definition of the double ramification cycle on the moduli space of curves. These cycles all have tautological formulae which resemble Pixton's original formula for the DR cycle. I will then give a 'universal' formula from which all these special cases can be derived, and if time allows sketch how to deduce this universal formula from known cases. This is largely based on joint work with Bae, Pandharipande, Schmitt and Schwarz.
