Title:
Explorations of adjoint QCD and supersymmetric gauge theories on the lattice

Speaker:
Georg Bergner

Abstract:
In this talk, I will review our results from non-perturbative investigations of gauge theories with fermions in the adjoint and fundamental representation. I will relate these results to extensions of the standard model and supersymmetric gauge theories. The results include mass spectrum and phase transitions. I will also discuss the case of a compactified gauge theory with adjoint fermions, which has been subject to several semiclassical studies.
