Excess bounding chains

Abstract:
In a paper from 2016, jointly with J. Solomon, we classified bounding chains for homologically spherical Lagrangians, associating to their space one canonical parameter. In a joint paper from 2019, we discussed why this one parameter is natural from an open Gromov-Witten perspective. In a current preprint, I exemplify why this one parameter is not at all natural from an obstruction theory perspective.
