On GIT stability in mirrors to toric varieties

Abstract:
Using geometric invariant theory, Collins and Yau have produced obstructions to the existence of solutions to deformed Hermitian Yang-Mills on line bundles on a Kahler variety. Passing to the mirror in the toric setting, we will re-interpret their obstructions as integrals over certain Lagrangians and ponder their categorical interpretation. This talk is based on joint work with Tristan Collins and Jeff Hicks.
