Rigidity and Renormalization of multicritical circle maps

Abstract:
In this talk we will survey some recent and not so recent results concerning smooth rigidity of multicritical circle maps, which are C^r homeomorphisms of the circle with a finite number of (non-flat) critical points. In particular, we will discuss some of the main open questions in this field.
