Generalized Legendre Curves and Abelian Varieties with Quaternion Multiplication

Abstract:
In this talk, we will discuss some results on generalized Legendre curves and 2-dimensional abelian varieties with Quaternion Multiplication, which are based on explicit computations on the corresponding Galois representations and periods. This is a joint work with Alyson Deines, Jenny Fuselier, Holly Swisher and Fang-Ting Tu.
