Bordered Heegaard Floer Homology

Abstract:
Bordered Floer homology is an invariant for three-manifolds with boundary, developed in collaboration with Robert Lipshitz and Dylan Thurston. I will outline the construction, and describe recent work, some in progress. I will try to describe how this construction works in the special case where the three-manifold has torus boundary.
