Cornered Floer homology

Abstract:
We will discuss how to glue bordered Floer modules along subsurfaces of the boundary. Using this construction, we will sketch an extension of Heegaard Floer homology to a kind of (1+1+1)-dimensional field theory. This is joint work with Christopher Douglas and Ciprian Manolescu.
