Equivariant String Topology

Abstract:
I will discuss the homological algebra of 2-dimensional gauge theory, with String Topology as an example. Calculations there are possible by rational homotopy techniques. The role of the (rationalized) classifying space BG is assumed by a hyper-Kaehler space of double the size, the so-called `space of vacua’ for pure 3-dimensional gauge theory.
