Title:
Random Matrix Theory and Low-Energy QCD

Speaker:
Poul Damgaard

Abstract:
Random Matrix Theory has become a crucial tool for interpreting and understanding results from numerical simulations of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). I will review this development, which shows how Random Matrix Theory ties in beautifully with effective field theory, also beyond applications to QCD.
