Pfaffian identities and Schur's Q-functions

Abstract:
Schur's Q-functions are a family of symmetric functions indexed by strict partitions. In this talk, we explain how to use general Pfaffian identities to derive several formulas for Q-functions such as Schur's and Jozefiak-Pragacz's formulas. Also we discuss symplectic Q-functions and their factorial version.
