Title:
Tunneling-based quantum devices with ultracold strongly interacting atoms

Speaker:
Andrea Trombettoni

Abstract:
After briefly reviewing the use of ultracold atoms for the implementation of quantum devices, I present in the first part of the talk recent results on the Josephson dynamics of two superfluid ultracold fermionic gases weakly linked by a controllable barrier [1]. In the second part I discuss weakly coupled Y-junctions of Tonks-Girardeau gases, showing recent results on the experimental realization of Y-geometries with holographic traps [2].
