Incompressible flow with odd viscosity

Abstract:
In this talk I will review the concept of odd viscosity in two-dimensional fluid dynamics. Odd viscosity is non-dissipative in nature and is allowed in 2d fluids with broken parity and time reversal symmetry. We will consider few examples of incompressible flows with odd viscosity. Some remarks will be made on connections between odd viscosity in incompressible 2d fluids and Hall viscosity in quantum Hall systems.
