Reversible computing and Modified Sine-Gordon Equations

Abstract:
At the lecture we discuss common properties of logically and thermodynamically reversible devices. Such devices should be able to perform logical operations with energy dissipation less than kBTln2 per bit. We will also discuss properties of one superconducting reversible device with the measured energy dissipation below thermodynamic kBTln2 threshold.
