Symplectic embeddings of Lagrangian products

Abstract:
Lagrangian products form a class of symplectic manifolds whose geometry is related to the dynamics of a billiard table determined by the factors. In this talk, I will explain this relation and how ECH capacities can be used to find sharp obstructions to a large class of symplectic embedding problems of lagrangian products. This is joint work with Daniele Sepe.
