Majorana spinors and vortices

Abstract:
Following the works of Jackiw et al. on the plane (complex dimension 1), I will introduce an Abelian gauge theory on odd dimensional Kahler manifolds. Physically, the theory describes the surface excitations of a TI-SC interface. Solutions of the corresponding variational equations are Majorana spinors over Ginzburg–Landau vortices.
