Renormalization in Hamiltonian Truncation

Abstract:
In this talk I will review the Hamiltonian truncation method and the renormalization program aimed at mitigating the problem of dimensionality. In particular I will introduce a new renormalization framework which has given promising results in the two-dimensional Landau-Ginzburg theory.
