Field Theory, Family Style

Abstract:
A family of field theories is like a bundle whose fibers are field theories. I will argue that, while admittedly rather abstract, some interesting physics can be learned from the perspective. I will give three variations on this theme: Berry's phase, 't Hooft anomalies which may be trivialized fiber-by-fiber but not globally, and the classification of anomalous spacetime symmetry.
