A Schwinger-Keldysh effective action

Abstract:
I will describe recent progress in writing down a Schwinger-Keldysh Wilsonian effective action in relativistic field theories using a superspace formalism. The effective action can describe dynamics of charge propagating in a fixed thermal background (including quantum corrections) and accounts for a positive semi-definite entropy current in a semiclassical limit.
