Title:
Superconformal Correlation Functions in the Large R-Charge Expansion

Speaker:
Simeon Hellerman

Abstract:
In this talk we discuss the large quantum number expansion, where observables in strongly coupled theories are estimated as an asymptotic series in negative powers of a conserved quantum number. After reviewing recent developments in various supersymmetric and nonsupersymmetric models in the large quantum number limit, we highlight the case of N=2 superconformal theories in D=4, with one-complex-dimensional Coulomb branch. In theories of this type, we explain how correlation functions of chiral primary operators of R-charge J, can be computed to all orders in the 1/J expansion, with no information other than the a-coefficient of the Weyl anomaly of the underlying theory.
