Title:
Quantum Operations on Conformal Nets and Twisted Representations

Speaker:
Marcel Bischoff

Abstract:
Quantum operations on a quantum system are described by unital completely positive maps. Conformal nets are an operator algebraic axiomatization of (unitary) chiral conformal field theory. Putting these two ideas together, I will give a notion of quantum operations on a conformal net which generalizes global symmetries. I will present a "Galois theory" for conformal subnets and a notion of soliton representations "twisted" by quantum operations.
