Transport in SYK nanostructures and arrays

Abstract:
I will discuss heat and charge transport through quantum dots and arrays constructed of SYK (non Fermi liquid) building blocks. The key theoretical tool is to extent the Schwarzian action to include hopping, or kinetic energy. We then develop an RG treatment of such an extended Schwarzian theory.
