Title:
Non-critical strings: Link to QHE and geometry of disorder

Speaker:
Ara Sedrakyan

Abstract:
1: I will present a new type of Matrix Model (MM), which allows putting any spin chain model given by R-matrix on a random surface. Contrary to standard MM's, the proposed model allows for critical models of any central charge, including c>1. Examples include Babujyan-Takhtajian models with higher spins. Hence, the approach opens the door to cross the c=1 barrier problem in the non-critical string theory. Diagonalization of matrices of the MM leads to the problem of Gaussian matrix integration over Full Flag Manifold (FFF). We argue that this integral can be evaluated.
