A black hole farey tail in N=4 super-Yang-Mills

Abstract:
I present an asymptotic expansion for the superconformal index of the 4d N=4 theory, as a sum over infinitely-many exponential terms. The first term in the sum corresponds to the bulk BPS black hole. All the other terms should correspond to new, currently unknown, Euclidean BPS black hole-type geometries.
