Title:
Mini-course. Reducibility, KAM theory and Renormalization in quasi-periodic dynamics: Part II

Speaker:
Raphael Krikorian

Abstract:
I shall discuss in these lectures several results involving various notions of reducibility (in the sense of linearization) for diffeomorphisms of the circle, pseudo-rotation of the disk or quasi-periodic cocycles. I will recall the basic principles of KAM theory, its use in perturbative situations and its limitations. I will then introduce renormalization methods and explain how they allow to obtain results that are out of reach of the classical KAM method.
